Comments: The songs and music Kai performs on this CD, classics
as well as his original compositions are as special as the community
in which he was raised - beautiful Hana, Maui. The spirit of old
Hawai'i
resides there, and in "Aloha Ku`u Home O Hana", I am enfolded in the
sublime essence of that divine place where the music is filled with
timeless aloha. His lovely vocals and classic falsetto styling are accompanied
by his 'ukulele and guitar, with generous support from Cody "Pueo" Pata
on back-up vocals, Ata Damasco on piano, Vinton Castro on steel and
acoustic guitar and Leimana Abenes on upright bass. A real gem, for
all traditional Hawaiian music fans.
